It's Finally Happening
Many of us have been talking about this moment for 10, 20, 30+ years.
Remember that smile on your face when you randomly drove out to the land on a sunny Saturday to find a group of your brothers hanging out and enjoying the freedom from the stresses of undergraduate life? Or the moment your closest friends' faces lit up from the dim firepit light and you let out an "EYYYY!" as you realized who was joining you for a beverage around the fire on a cool Cullowhee winter night?
The land has been a place for connecting with our brothers, a place to escape, a place we could call our own. We've hosted some of the most outrageously fun parties, scared the community half to death on the haunted trail, and made some of the best memories of our college careers on this land.
While sitting on truck tailgates and hoping it wouldn't rain was fun--and added a sense of adventure--we're ready to turn it up a notch. It's time for a real structure out there for all generations of Kappa Gamma brothers, friends, and family to gather and celebrate our lasting bond.
